Are you getting ready for your ACT? One of the key items that you need on your test day will be your admission ticket. Other important items include your ID, calculator, pencils, etc. The admission ticket is easy to find once you go to the ACT website: myact.org. However, printing it can be trickier.
For me, there did not seem to be a clear way to print my ticket nor could I find anywhere online giving a proper explanation for how to do it. Hopefully, the following guide will help you avoid the same problems:
*Keep in mind that before you can print your admission ticket, you will need to submit a photo of yourself on the ACT website. It is quite clear how to do it once you navigate to the website but make sure to do it before the photo deadline. Also, make sure that you follow all of the necessary requirements for the photo.
Accessing the Admission Ticket
In order to access your admission ticket, you will need to search up myact.org. Once you arrive at the website, log in with your username and password that you created when you made your account.
Once you’ve done this, the first thing that should pop up is the date of your exam and relevant information. You should also see a message to submit a photo if you have not yet done so. Make sure to do this before the photo deadline. The photo is needed for the admission ticket.
Once all of the above is completed, look below for a link to the admission ticket. Once you click on that, a page should open up, with the entire admission ticket. This whole page is the admission ticket.
Printing the Ticket
When I was looking at my admission ticket, there was no clear way for me to print it. If you face a similar issue and are on a Mac, here is one solution:
Make sure you are on a non-school account.
- Open the Admission ticket
- Navigate to the top left of your computer screen and click “File”
- This should open a drop down menu.
- Click on Print
- This should bring you to a menu to easily print your ticket!
